The treatment made such a difference in my life that I decided I wanted to learn how to make that kind of difference in the lives of others.”
Linda Stanley is a Licensed Massage Therapist and Medical Massage Practitioner. She is the owner of Heaven Sent Massage of Ellijay. She is a Graduate of Cohutta Healing Arts Institute (CHAI), and is a director over their student clinic. Linda has over 20 years of experience in Health Care and Medical Records. In 2020 Linda was Certified to practice Manual Lymphatic Drainage (Vodder Technique) through the Academy of Lymphatic Studies. She is also a 2002 Graduate of Georgia NorthWestern (formerly Coosa Valley Technical College), with a diploma in Business Office Management.

Leslie Byrd, LMT, MLD-C

“I have had many years of my life spent with chronic migraine, pain & fatigue, and other symptoms from living with a genetic connective tissue disorder – Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (Hypermobile Type). Additionally, a minor car accident in the early 2000s, followed by a fall in 2005, has contributed to chronic pain in my back, neck, and shoulders, and occasional issues with sciatic pain. I have seen the success massage can have not only in relaxation and stress reduction, but in managing and reducing chronic pain. It has been a long-time goal of mine to become a massage therapist to share my knowledge of pain conditions in helping others to manage or reduce the daily discomforts they may be experiencing.”
Leslie Byrd is a Licensed Massage Therapist and graduate of Cohutta Healing Arts Institute (CHAI). Leslie has over 15 years of personal experience with chronic pain and illness pathologies, and has developed a deep understanding of many chronic conditions, such as Fibromyalgia, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and Chronic Migraine. Leslie continues her education by studying treatments for several conditions, as well as taking courses in techniques such as Neuromuscular and Reflexology. In 2020, Leslie was Certified to Teach Yoga through Yoga & Ayurveda Center; she also received a Certificate to practice Manual Lymphatic Drainage (Vodder Technique) through the Academy of Lymphatic Studies. Leslie has studied Craniosacral Therapy and has completed the first two CST courses through the Upledger Institute.
It is her desire to assist others in finding relief, peace, and relaxation beyond the discomforts they may experience.

Karen Bleakman, LMT
Karen Bleakman is a proud graduate of the Atlanta School of Massage and the Heal Center for Reflexology. She is a native of Atlanta and most of her practice has been in East Cobb, Roswell and Alpharetta. Her love for massage and natural healing started over 30 years ago. In her first 20 years Karen worked with chiropractors, developing most of her skills and experience dealing with repair, injury, and range-of-motion work. She has now broadened her field of expertise to the Spa and Wellness Industry. Karen has learned many new services late in her career and has been enjoying every minute of it! She has been in this business many years, and is excited to be a part of the Ellijay & North Georgia Community, offering her services to the people here. She’s been touched by so many people and amazing experiences in so many ways; Karen is grateful for all those she has helped, and it is her hope that you will allow her to touch your life in a positive way.
